not sure when “Harald Schmidt” starts today and being lazy with setting booksmark, i headed over to google to check the tv schedule for today. vaguely remembering that the “ARD” actually goes by “das Erste (deutsche Fernsehen)” i entered “das erste” at google and got as expected “www.DasErste.de” as the very first hit. now here’s the part that really surprised me: the second link is to the wikipedia entry of “Das Erste”, however, the third and forth links are completely unrelated the german television channel, they go to “the first (vienna) vegetable orchestra“. well, to be honest, there is a youtube video on the vegetable orchestra site where you can see the members shopping for suitable vegetables, preparing them by turning them into “instruments” and finally playing on them in front of a live audience.
