Illusions and Dreams is a weblog about MMORPGs, Lacanian psychoanalysis, media science (mainly new media and tv series), cycling, computer hardware and random other stuff that catches my attention. It also serves as a mental deposit on the web where I write down things on my mind for future reference.
I usually go by the nickname Sark on the Internet and in RL I am living in the south of Austria, Europe. I have an MA in American literature and a PhD in media studies (with a focus on psychoanalysis) and in my spare time I love riding my road bicycle, watching selected TV series and playing MMOs (currently WoW).
