More season premieres on the Comedy front:

Monday - How I met your Mother's Season 6 premiere had a steady rating that had Ted wondering about the ankle of a woman he supposedly met and Robin still downtrodden over her recent break-up. Of course the woman in question was NOT the mother.

Monday - Solid ratings also for Season 8 premiere for Two and a half Man. Well, Charlie passed out on the stairs after trying to mail his pants to India. Seems that Courtney Thorne-Smith will be on for longer as Alan's love interest and even young Jake sneaked out TWO girls TWICE during the episode, after having spent the night with them. Way to go, Buddy! *lol*

Thursday - The Big Bang Theory shattered its timeslot competition with the Season 4 premiere. Storylines involved Penny chaperoning Sheldon's first real date, and Wolowitz getting into a delicate situation with a robot hand he constructed....

Thursday - Fuck my Dad says. New series starring aging and fattening William Shatner as, well, aging and fattening ass terrorising his family, but at the end letting his younger son move in with him. This series was massively hyped, and got good rating due to the strong BBT lead-in. Nothing to see about the usage of Facebook and Skype though, as was mentioned over the summer.

Thursday - 30 Rock. Opposite Fuck my Dad says on NBC got their usual ratings. It seems that 30 Rock is one of those "Critics love it, audience doesn't care" series. Can't say anything about the show, since I haven't watched it yet; still working my way through Season 4.

I love the peace and isolation of the early hours just after midnight, I too get most of my work done during these hours but it's hard to adjust back to normality and it's starting to take it's toll as I get older.

I stumbled across your site a few minutes ago while searching for 'time to wake up, Warcraft' as I find myself in a very similar situation to your post 'wake up and thaw out'

It helped reading and knowing someone else had gone through the same thing, so thanks.
